Wasn’t sure how good this would be but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very good and even let us swap seats after a no show. The food was good, plentiful and tasty. The boat was warm and comfortable and because it wasn’t busy, very roomy. The singer was ok but not really our cup of tea. Preferred it when they just had music playing. I was disappointed that we had to have a stop to get the main course and so didn’t get time to go to the Thames Barrier. We had been looking forward to that. Overall though, relaxing way to spend the evening
there were eight of us on board - one with dietary requests which was dealt with in an efficient and spontaneous friendly way on the night - the food and drinks were very good and the ambience excellent - we were lucky with the weather too. May I say a special thank you to the singer, she made every effort to accommodate celebrating a special birthday - want to do this again! Thank you to all the staff too!
Really enjoyed the evening, great boat with friendly entertainment. Just an issue with the free half bottle of wine. All tables seemed to have their 750ml bottles but we were given small individual 187ml bottles. When asked for our package requirement this was what was given and no more. Very annoyed with that and not even given complementary baileys to soften the blow!
Great value for 11 of us and not one had a negative word to say, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment, Joe the pilot was very capable and friendly and Bill, what can we say, a huge character and genuine and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Good luck guys and we will be back again
The entertainment was "campy" and fun. The boat ride went upstream and then docked for a period of time, then turned around and went back. It did not go in front of Parliament/Big Ben, which is one of the most iconic river views - that was disappointing.
