What people are saying about Campo de' Fiori

A combination of good food and interesting locations

All went smoothly from the time we met Marta, our guide, in the Campo di Fiori, slightly off the beaten Roman tourist trail. Stopping occasionally to give us fascinating insights regarding the history of the places we visited, she also led our small group to several small restaurants to sample genuine Italian dishes. The pizzas on the thinnest of crusts were delicious and very unlike what we would expect of a pizza at home. And we were introduced to food we hadn't tried before - including suppli (rice balls) and globe artichokes cooked in traditional Roman-Jewish style in the former Ghetto. Wine and finally a wide choice of ice-creams rounded off a really enjoyable evening. Thank you, Marta, for your efficiency throughout.

Fun class, delicious food, amazing location!

I signed up for this activity alone while my family did a traditional sightseeing tour of Rome. The meeting point was very easy to find, and we started with a sandwich snack before the class started. The terrace was beautiful and the Prosecco was flowing! We learned many different pasta techniques and watched demos for making the sauce. The class was very well organized and well timed. The only downsides were: (1) all the pasta is dumped together to be cooked, so you might not get your own pasta back, (2) the meal was light on dessert (but there was still plenty to eat). The total time was closer to 2.5 hours. Very happy I booked this activity!

Fabulous local insight to food and history told with passion

Our guide Matteau (think that's right?) was wonderful we were very fortunate to be the only 2 on his tour, but meant we got a superb repour and all the Q's and A's one could want. He was extremely knowledgeable about Rome, its origins and cultures. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the tour, it was varied, he used a tablet to show the historical appearances of buildings and described vividly of the demise of some areas. The food aspect was just balanced enough, almost too much, but spread out enough to enable us to appreciate the tastings and its roots in history. Thank you

This was a fun and very satisfying experience.

Welcomed with a few glasses of crispy Prosecco. Completely hands on pasta making experience. Secret tips and recipes. Lovely, funny and engaging instructors. Breath taking setting. It might seem pricey, but I highly recommend. You will remember this one forever.

Totally worth it! Wish We would have done it sooner!

Malta was our guide, she was amazing! So knowledgeable and fun. She made it very educational and personable. She got to tell us about each place, it’s origins and why she was actually taking us where she was. Absolutely recommend!
