Full description
Day 1: Atherton Tablelands Waterfall, Wildlife and Rainforest Tour

Learn the legend of Babinda Boulders, steeped in Aboriginal history. Your morning swim beckons amidst the lush rainforest and cascading crystal clear waters of Josephine Falls. You can slide down a waterfall on a natural rockslide, before journeying on to Australia’s most iconic waterfall, Millaa Millaa Falls.

For lunch, you will visit Australia’s largest timber pub where you can fill your belly with some good old-fashioned country cooking. Then take a bush walk, swim behind a waterfall, gaze into volcanic crater, and look out for wild cassowaries. See the famous Curtain Fig Tree and search for platypus, before departing off to your last stop of the day at Lake Eacham. Watch the sunset after a truly spectacular day, enjoying one last swim in the warm water.

Day 2: Half-Day Barron River Rafting

Just 20 minutes from central Cairns, Barron Gorge National Park is known for its rugged rainforest mountains, steep ravines, and of course, Barron Falls. Enjoy complimentary transfers from your Cairns accommodation to the National Park. When you arrive at Lake Placid, meet your guide to get ready for your white water rafting tour on the river, which snakes its way down from the mountains toward the Coral Sea.

During this scenic experience, enjoy a combination of calm water and a series of white water rapids, providing you with both peaceful floating and more exciting action. You’ll raft for up to 2 hours on rapids up to grade III. No experience is necessary (making this a good choice for beginner rafters) but there is plenty of excitement even for the more experienced members of the tour. When your tour is over, you'll be returned to your pickup point.
