This was an amazing tour! Our guide was so knowledgable and taught us so much about French wine! Although Burgundy is known for white and red wine, this was mostly a white wine tour since we spent time in the northern area. We saw a few different style wineries, which was awesome to see! We stopped in Noyers to have lunch and it was such a cute town that was frozen in time! It was even nice to stop at a sparkling wine cellar and learn how they make sparkling wine to finish off the tour!

Great Day Trip on the Burgandy Wine Tour

Our driver and travel guide was Hanna, and she was excellent. She was very attentive to the group and very knowledgeable about the wines and the region overall. The cellars and caves are very cold, so I recommend you take a warm jacket. It was a rainy day when we went and perfect for the wine tastings. We stopped for lunch at the village of Noyers where there is a couple of food options including a full service restaurant which we tried and loved!!! This village was quite a site to see because it is as time stopped here. We saw almost no locals only tourist stopping by. The wines we tasted were mostly white and quite good. Overall a great day trip to the wine country in France.

We visited 3 wine producers, the first one was explained to us by the same guide and it was good, but we did not see the plantation only a small family winery owned by the owners. The second vineyard was better we saw the plantation, we did not see the wine production in any of the places that would have been more great, but if you give a rather interesting explanation. In total in the 3 vineyards we tried 20 varieties of wine which is excellent. To be able to appreciate it better, I would have liked to have a table of chopped cheeses and sausages. If I would like to have seen the plantations of the 3 places instead of going to the warehouse and the cellar where they keep the wines.
