What people are saying about Budapest

Great few hours but could have stayed all day

I went on a weekday at 10am and it didn't get that busy as some of the pictures suggest. We left around 1pm as we wanted to do more that day but if you fancy eating at the cafe or bringing a pack up you can easily spend the whole day there. I bought my ticket using get your guide and this was a lot easier than trying to work out the ticket We needed when you get to the baths.

A wonderful way to chill and join in on Hungarian culture!

I've been to two baths/spas now in Budapest: a small place with a lot of locals and the Széchenyi. I really enjoyed both and would recommend them heartily. Going for an evening of relaxation after sightseeing is great. I was pleased to meet and talk with some friendly locals here (I had feared tourists had taken over). Sometimes "quiet rooms" were not so quiet due to large groups of younger travellers, but we had a enjoyable time nonetheless. For me, the bath culture of Budapest is something not to miss out on!

A very nice experience. Your exit machine didn’t work very well.

Smooth entrance. Nice lockers. Too bad the weather wasn’t a little nicer. Your exit machine didn’t seem to like the bracelets. It took 4 tries before I could get out!! Otherwise a very nice place....Robert & Linda Gibbs

An amazing experience, everyone must visit in Budapest

We enjoyed everything there. Every Bath with a different temperatures 20 - 40 degree C*. So after exploring around we have chosen the best for us. Nice relaxing atmosphere, chose of nice drinks and is not over priced. Maybe staff could be more helpful and focused on their job. Definitely we would go back there.

Great way to relax and enjoy some history

Fantastic spa with loads of pools, both warm and cool, to relax in. We visited on one of the hottest days of the year meaning all of the sun beds had been taken, but eventually some came available. There is food and drink available, but we brought our own lunch and ate it at the spaces provided. Definitely a good idea to book ahead as the queue was huge when we arrived, but much shorter for pre-bookings. The private cabin/cubicle is worthwhile as it gives you somewhere to get changed and leave your belongings.
