What people are saying about Budapest

Nice ride on beautiful Danube. But too short.

Took two rides - evening from 20 (perfect dawn time) and one from 13:30. What's a pitty: evening ship was small, short ride times, tourist prices at bar. Evening ship was really small with sitting on benches like in a bus. So if You wasn't so quick to got place right at "window" You'll see less. This is quite opposite to day ship which was perfectly ok. It is announced as one hour ride. In reality, one hour is time between rides. You have to subtract boarding time and time to get out. In result the ride is about 40 minutes (guess). During day You also subtract Margaret's Island stop. Problem is not the difference between what I payed and what I get, but especially evening You ends up with feeling "fine, but it should be slower...". If there is the option, 90min could be much better. Btw: one bottle of cider cost 1200HUF, in a shop it cost about 350HUF. Again, no problem with pricey local cocktail but small bottle I can buy everywhere...

A Unique & Fun way to see Budapest. A Tour, you wish would never end

The moment Bert & Erik arrived in 2 brightly coloured tuk tuks at our Hotel, we were greeted very warmly. After a few selfies & quick discussion of the route of our 4 hr city tour, we were off. We felt like celebrities when every vehicle driver & pedestrian had their eyes on our quirky tuk tuks! Both our driver cum guides were knowledgeable & entertaining. We were taken to an attraction, told about it, allowed time to see it & then the tuk tuk drivers would help us take photographs with it. We were given toilet breaks whenever needed & dropped off at the location we requested after the tour. Doing a private tour of a city this way is a must, as a tuk tuk can access many roads & places other vehicles can not, also it’s a fun way to tour, especially with children. The tuk tuks are equipped with blankets and rain hoods. They would be perfect for those in wheelchairs as well. If you’re traveling to Budapest don’t hesitate, book this tour!

Evening cruise, well attended, mix of passengers, reasonable value.

Winter tours probably atypical, but my first scheduled afternoon cruise did not take place as I was the only passenger! Pretty full however for the next, evening, event and proved value for money. NO safety briefing on life-jackets / floats / emergency stations. Boat was OK, but had clearly seen better days. Both (free) drinks served at same time early in one-hour cruise as 'bar is only open for first 20 mins' ! ? Comprehensive commentary, albeit disrupted by talkative groups nearby

I would like to highly suggest this! A great value for your money.

I booked tickets just 1 day before, and the process was really smooth. During the ferry trip, we took 2 times trip, as for the first time we did not get nice positions. In the 2nd time, we were sitting in the first row to enjoy a great view! I would highly suggest you enjoy night view when the city full of lights. Unfortunately, we booked a ferry trip in Prague as well, the experience was worse than this. I would say this trip really worth 5 out of 5, as it's 24 hours ticket
