Full description
Departure from Budapest at 8:00 AM and head to the UNESCO world heritage wine region of Tokaj. After a 3-hour journey, you will arrive in the Tokaj wine region and visit your first winery of the day. At the small-scale family winery, you will learn about the history, traditions, terroir, grape varieties and winemaking styles and of course enjoy a wine tasting. 

Then enjoy a 3-course lunch at a wine bistro at the foot of the vineyards. During the afternoon you will visit the town of Tokaj and the famous cellar of the former Royal Estate. As you explore the 600-year-old cellar where you will get to taste 5-6 dry and sweet wines. You will then begin your journey back to Budapest arriving around 8:00-9:00 PM.
