Full description
Discover neo-renaissance residential palaces along Andrássy Avenue, which together with the neo-Gothic parliament and beautiful Art Nouveau buildings create the ambience for interesting and curious stories from the time of the Danube monarchy. Learn about the life of the citizens of the Hungarian capital. On the way between Heroes' Square and Parliament, visit a spa, a coffee house, the Opera House and St. Stephen's Basilica. You can also experience a ride on a 118-year-old pavement.

The tour begins in the center of Pest, from where you can stroll through the city from the Parliament building. You can discover a number of historic Art Nouveau buildings around Freedom Square. See the small market hall and visit the largest church in the capital, St. Stephen's Basilica.

Then the tour continues on the "Budapest Champs-Élysées". The most beautiful residential palaces from the monarchy, such as the Saxlehner Palace, await you on the famous Andrássy Avenue. Also see the state opera house and the theater district with the operetta theater. After a short ride on the plaster, you will see the highlights of the Budapest City Park, such as the Széchenyi Spa and Vajdahunyad Castle, before you reach Heroes' Square for the crowning glory.
