Full description
There is no better way to see the city's beautiful sites and learn the history of Budapest than by bike. Spend a relaxing day touring both sides of the Danube with a small group and familiarize yourself with the best of what the city has to offer.

Meet at the Cityrama office, very close to the parliament building, for a brief introduction before heading out to explore the city.

While crusing around the city you will visit some of the capital's most historic sites including the parliament building, the Castle District, Matthias Church, Fishermen’s Bastion, and the Labyrinth of Buda Castle. Continue on towards Alexander Palace and the Royal Palace.

Once in Pest, bike to Gresham Palace, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, St.Stephen’s Basilica, and Liberty Square . On route to Heroe’s Square you will pass by Andrassy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. Notable spots along this street include the Opera House and the House of Terror which commemorates the two main oppressive regimes in Hungary, fascism and communism. The tour ends downtown after our final stop at the city park.

Great way to see places you wouldn’t get to visit otherwise on foot. My guide Micky was very nice and offered a good amount of information about building and places we cycled past. As a bonus, since I was the only participant of the tour, I got to choose the itinerary. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed our biketour in Budapest very much! The guide was friendly and informative and told us a lot about this beautiful city. Good bikes and helmets were available. The organisation even made the effort to rent a children's bike for our daughter, on our request. The weather was lovely and as Budapest is a flat city with many cycling paths, this was a great experience!

Great tour of Buadpest by bike!

My guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Buda and Pest sides of the city. Kept a great pace for me as we explored both sides of the city. He had a good sense of the city's history and pointed out some great sites during our three hour trip. I had walked the city prior to this tour but was looking forward to a bike tour. I was absolutely happy with the trip and my guide.
