This is truly a must do while in Vancouver, especially if travelling with friends or family. We have two young boys who both loved the whole thing (particularly take off and landing and the snow topped mountains!). The staff at Harbour Air were very friendly, and we had no problems getting checked in with the family, and were able to leave our bags in the terminal (at no extra charge). The terminal is well equipped, including the free coffee and pastries which we certainly made use of and were not expecting. The pilot was great, talked us through the route he was taking and what we should look out for and asked before take off if there was anything in particular anyone wanted to see. A very worthwhile (if slightly pricey) experience!
She really got to know us by name. Her driving was impeccable during rush hour. Loved all the spots in Vancouver that we hit. Not too much or tool little time spent at each. The bus was comfortable (although cup holder could be an improvement), it was always warm, which felt great after exposure to the cold and rain. I honestly didn't know if we'd figure out how to get back to the bus after our Granville stop. That place is confusing. She herded us cats with humor and grace. I have to say The Capilano Bridge park was my favorite part of the tour. So many ways the woods are highlight. Great picture taking opportunities. Overall, I'd highly recommend.
Super cool, in-character storyteller provides tour around old town Gastown, Vancouver. Our storyteller we friendly, funny, and flexible when plans needed to be adjusted. The only heads up is that the tour starts up the hill at Cathedral Square, but ends down the hill on Water Street (about 4 blocks away). If you are going to drive and park, park near the main drag of Gastown to avoid a nightime uphill walk through some sketchy neighborhoods.
We had a wonderful time on this tour. Very well organized, comfortable bus, short tides from one attraction to another, perfect time management. And our tour guide Basil was jusr amazing, very knowledgeable and informative, was raking a great care of all of us. This tour is a perfect way to do sightseeing of Vancouver, highly recommended.
Good whale watching and seal experience only criticism was the boat very full. The staff on the boat were very knowledgable regarding the sea life. Also trip allowed a good time in Victoria which was a bonus before flying back to Vancouver.
