I found out about this exhibition while googling top attractions to visit in Bordeaux. I booked online at €20 each and easily parked in the accompanying car park. My family and I spent about 3 hours there using our headphones and tuning into about 100 different stations. The actual building is ultra modern with a 360 degree viewing floor of the area at the top. There is a huge bar where we were offered one small drink of wine to taste. This was disappointing considering the grandeur of the rest of the experience. And the fact I had paid €80 for my family to be there.
I particularly liked the history details, the people speaking from different parts of the world and the interactive sensory area. One negative is that a couple of the screens in the countries display at the start could be better positioned so people watching one display do not block the view of those at the neighboring display. Bordeaux and Spain was one and California and Argentina was another. The latter would be very easy to fix.
The moment you walked in, you knew this was a special place. The interactive technology is brilliant. The cinema was thrilling. The wine tasting and wine staff made this event over the top. Nothing even close to this in the world. See my review onTrip Advisor.
Impressed by the presentation-covering all senses and aspects (futureustic, present, historic).
