Full description
Get picked up by your bilingual guide at your accommodation and embark on tour of some of Bogota's most historically-significant places. Head first to the historical district of La Candelaria, the ideal location to explore the cultural heritage of the nation. Walk through Santander Square, a tribute to one of the founders of Colombia. Enjoy free time to take photos or even stop for a souvenir along the way. Continue along Jimenez boulevard towards Rosario plaza and let your guide introduce you to historical, cultural, and local points of interest that you wouldn't otherwise find.

After passing through Chorro de Quevedo, the tour continues to the Botero Museum, dedicated to one of the most famous Colombian sculptors. Learn how to recognize the iconic "Boterismo" style and how the sometimes humorous exaggerated proportions of his pieces can function as political critique. Afterwards, head to the Coin and Bill Production Museum and the Gold Museum to learn about the fascinating civilization of the pre-Colombia peoples.

Continue on to Bolivar Square and Nariño House to visit the home of the former president of Colombia. Learn about some important figures in the history of the country and their impact on today's society. Finally, visit the cultural center dedicated to one of Colombia's most significant writers, Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Head back to your hotel with all the knowledge and experience of the Colombia capital you've gained throughout the tour.
