What people are saying about Berlin

Tailor-made, inspiring and informative, expertise and subtle details

An excellent introduction and overview for a first-time or returning visitor. Inspiration for further discoveries and valuable tips beyond your average guide(book) or website. Expert knowledge combined with anecdotal local insight, presented in a digestible and engaging manner in impeccable English. The tour makes you reflect upon and appreciate Berlin's defining historical moments and their link with architecture, urban planning and contemporary culture. An ideal balance between serious content and more light-hearted and friendly dialogue with a qualified professional. The personal viewpoints and interpretation provided food for thought. We particularly appreciated the effort to make the tour enjoyable even for children (aged 9-12) who remained engaged throughout and set up with appropriate bikes. When your bike tour is organised and run by a Dutchman, you are in good hands. :-) Also an asset in providing a refreshing and open-minded take on German history and culture.

Cute, interactive museum - great for kids

Quite a popular museum with some interesting facts. There is a variety of interactive exhibits which are great for children especially. Most of what is available is in both English and German, however there were some video interviews which were in German and didn't have English subtitles or voiceovers. I also found it incredibly frustrating that when you exit you end up in the gift shop/cafe which is not attached to the original entrance. At the entrance there are lockers - so if you've used these lockers you need to go outside to get back to them. On a day when it's raining this is especially annoying

Fantastic experience. Great fun. A must do whilst in Berlin.

A great way to see Berlin, such a fun experience. Don't take it too seriously, you will laugh from start to finish, but it can be a struggle to hear the tour guide over the radio whilst you're driving the Trabi... The guide gives an excellent explanation of Trabant history whilst you top up with fuel half way around. The whole safari took almost 2 hours, so allow plenty of time for the tour. It was a crazy couple of hours... you must try it!

A fun fantastic way to see Berlin, thoroughly recommended

My husband and I enjoyed this experience. The guide (sorry but I cannot remember his name) was very good and quite witty. The cars are fun and relatively easy to drive once you get used to using the column gear shift. It is a great way to see and experience Berlin. I will definitely do this again when visiting Berlin.

Rob was fantastic and knowledgeable and above all patient and fun.

He clearly loves sharing his perspective and a glimpse into this unusual side of the art world and Berlin. The hands-on workshop was super fun and a great touch! Thank you for a great tour that captivated three generations from skeptical teen to octogenarian art lover and in between. Fab!
