Full description
Experience an exciting and entertaining journey through the history of Berlin with a guide who knows the city inside out. Begin your tour at Hackescher Markt and go through Haus Schwarzenberg, where time seems to stand still. Discover the famous Hackesche Höfe and follow the small streets that still correspond to the town plan from the 18th century.

Walk in the footsteps of the old Jewish community members at the New Synagogue. Along the way, hear stories about St. Hedwig Hospital, the Baroque Sophienkirche, and the Jewish cemetery from 1671. Observe the contrast between original back courtyards and the modern restaurants, galleries, and luxury apartments.

The tour ends at the Clärchens Ballhaus, the oldest ballroom in Berlin which still uses its old entrance sign designed by Otto Dix. Enjoy a beer in the front garden, where marks on the walls show the ghostly silhouette of a building that once stood there.
