What people are saying about Belfast

Well worth visiting Derry - great value tour

On the way to Derry, we saw parts of Belfast that the hop on, hop off bus doesn’t visit, including a park divided by a “peace wall”, and a primary school which became the focus of protest as recently as 2000. There’s a scenic drive, partly through mountains, to Derry, a walled city high up, where you get an illuminating walking tour, and guided visit to the Siege Museum, from a loyalist perspective, and then time to explore - I recommend using it to fit in an hour at the Tower Museum on the whole history of Derry. In the nationalist Bogside below the city walls, we went round the fascinating Free Derry Museum (I would have liked an hour there too!), and had Bloody Sunday thoroughly explained, going on a walking tour of where it took place, by the powerful murals and monuments, led by the brother of one of the young men shot dead that day - a very moving experience. Good supper also included. Tommy, the overall tour guide, and driver, was great - really clear, interesting and helpful.

Derry: Political Day Tour from Belfast Reviewed by Anonymous, 08/25/2019

brilliant tour, excellent and friendly guide

Got the chance to visit many Game of Thrones filming locations and learn a great deal about the show, how it was filmed and the positive effect it had on people and Northern Island as a whole. Met Thor and Odin, the beautiful dogs who played Summer and Grey Wind in the show and the tour guide even had a treat for us at the end of the tour and organised for us to meet her friend Rob who bought with him a very important original dagger from the show which was a brilliant way to end the tour! Our guide Madeline and even the bus driver Ian were both fantastic and lovely people and really made the day a special one to remember. Couldn't fault the tour at all, I highly recommend it :)

Absolutely brilliant tour, can't recommend it highly enough!

Our tour was brilliant and great value for money. The bus driver (Stevie) and tour guide (Rachel) were a fab team, friendly, knowledgeable and great craic. We saw so much but never felt rushed and we were given all the information we needed at each stop off. Rachel had an excellent knowledge of all things Game of Thrones and her knowledge of the area and its stories and myths made the whole journey a pleasure. I can't recommend this trip highly enough, a truly fantastic day!

Great way to see the coastal sights and learn a bit of history.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Maura was very clear in explaining the local history and some of the folklore associated with stories incorporated into the Game of Thrones series. As I had no interest in the series, it was of no difference to my experience. The area is so beautiful. I loved having enough time to walk around the Giants Causeway. I will definitely be going back to explore more. This is a good way to get acquainted with what is there to see.

Good tour! Magnificent scene+extraodinary experience

Incredibly lucky were we to have a sunny day trip, so the landscape is particularly beautiful and marvelous. Just wish we could have stayed longer at Giant's causeway! Because if you join the exclusive special tour (it's optional) there, you almost have no time for photography.
