Full description
Leaving central Belfast in the morning, the first stop is the Dark Hedges (around 15 - 20 minutes), known as the location where Arya Stark made her escape down The Kings Road. Journey down the tunnel-like avenue of intertwined beech trees, and spend a few minutes at the site where Ayra Stark dressed as a boy to escape from King’s Landing. Stop at the Giant's Causeway for around 1.5 hours to discover this UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to the Giant's Causeway and enjoy around 1.5 hours exploring the 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stone columns formed during a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago. Admire this incredible place on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and hear the legend of Finn McCool. Onward to Ballintoy Harbor where you will get around 1 hour to enjoy one of the favorite filming locations on this tour. Experience the scene where Theon comes home for the first time. Your guide will show you where Theon was baptised in front of Balon and Yara, and where Euron was drowned and crowned to be king. Enjoy the most beautiful harbor in Ireland as you take in the views and reflect on all the magic and mystery of Game of Thrones. You'll also visit Larrybane Quarry, a chalk quarry which contains chert nodules, fossils, and calcite crystals. This is the place where Catelyn Stark met one of the many new kings. Go back to the Causeway coastal route to return to Belfast, and enjoy beautiful view of islands just off the coast like Rathlin Island, Sheep Island or even Scotland on a nice day.

We had a great time, the guide was native and gave us all kinds of information and anegdotes, making our trip enjoyable and fun. For fans of Game of Thrones, it is an essential visit, but for those who are not, they will enjoy some amazing landscapes ... brutal !!!

Good day out

We picked up the tour in Belfast, the bus was 100% full from Dublin but we managed to sit close to each other. The Giants Causeway was amazing , and the commentary on the whole tour was very interesting and informative. The traditional singing from Chloe on the route - whilst she had a beautiful voice- was a bit too much for our ironic English souls. The USA trip members seemed to lap it up though so we are clearly far too cynical.. overall a good day out .

Fantastic tour. Our guide Molly was very knowledgeable about everything GoT and being an extra herself, was enthusiastic about every aspect of the tour. Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. And our driver Ian was great as well. Would absolutely recommend this to any game of thrones fans looking for a good tour of filming locations around the Belfast area. Thank both of you so much!
