A very enjoiable time to see a beautiful Cathedral.

Although small in comparison to the Duomo, this church is still well worth seeing. Be aware that there are separate tickets to visit the church from the climb to the dome/tower, so be sure of which ticket you are purchasing. The inside of the church is beautiful and you can wonder about at will. Just be respectful of the quite atmosphere. The dome of the Apse is particularly ornate. Ladies should have shoulders covered and no high skirts or shorts. For those who wish to pray, there is a separate section you can enter apart from the visitors. Be sure to first wander around the peaceful Cloister Courtyard near the ticket office. Once in the church itself, be sure to spend some time in the Old Sacristy which is particularly beautiful. Notice in particular the blue planetarium star map painted under the dome of the alter. You might also want to get tickets to visit the Crypt and adjacent Medici Chapel while you are there.

Nice way to meet other people and go out in the evening

Maybe overpriced for what is offered (but this is Italy) but had a good time. Basically is an evening out to have a drink and snacks with other people and then a short tour at the end. Tour guide was super friendly and had a good time. Told some good stories and was patient with people snapping photos and having fun but the walk itself was rather short.

The Basilica of San Lorenzo is worth seeing!

I would recommend going to the Basilica of San Lorenzo. There are a lot of medieval paintings to see and special exhibit of the Crucifix sculpture who was a mentor to many others was worthwhile. The courtyard is beautiful and a nice place to relax.

A bit chaotic registering at the meeting place.

Although my group was not included on the registration list in error, a telephone call by the guide confirmed we had registered in advance. The ‘skip the line’ to see David was most helpful and the included lunch at gianino’s was very good!
