What people are saying about Barcelona

Our guide was very well versed in all aspects of Sagrata Familia

Through our guide, who was not only historically and architecturally knowledgeable, but also personally invested in this Gaudi masterpiece, I came away with a much greater appreciation for the intent and continuity within the overall design, as well as the intended meaning and back stories behind the numerous and beautifully presented sculptures that adorn the facades. This church is unique in many ways, not the least of which that it was built with no money or influence from Rome, so the hard corners and typically oppressive Catholic symbolism is refreshingly absent. Our guide emphasized this when showing how Gaudi's Nativity Facade included everyday symbols and emotions that illiterate farmers and workers could experience and relate to, in essence bringing the church to the people, as opposed to the threatening/intimidating approach most common to the traditional 'Vatican' Catholic churches. An excellent piece of art without question, but an equally powerful statement on humanity.

Great places to visit with an awesome tour guide

We had Sergio who made this trip. He was so knowledgeable about each area that we thought he was a history major. He was funny and attentive, and quiet when needed. He spent the entire time on our way back, talking to each person on the bus, answering their questions and recommending restaurants and other places to see. He was absolutely amazing, if you can, request him.

Our guide which name I do not remember was very good.

We got a tickedt at 12:00 but when we arrived we were told that some trouble was with the booking and that the 12:00 group was full. But we got a guide at 14:00. So we did not save any time - but got a good guide.

Knowledgeable, informative and amusing guide.

Well organised tour with friendly guide who was extremely knowledgeable. Provided lots of information but in an interesting and humorous way that made everything easier to understand and enjoy. We came away from the tour with a greater understanding not only of the Sagrada Familia but also of Gaudí and his thinking behind his masterpiece. Thanks, would definitely recommend.
