Full description
Experience a spectacular sunrise on top of Mount Batur in a more comfortable way. By joining this tour, you will have more time to rest because you will stay overnight in Kintamani which is only 30 minutes away from the mountain. Instead of waking up at midnight, you will wake up at 3:30 AM. After the hike, you can come back to your accommodation to rest a little bit more with an exclusive guaranteed check out time at 2:00 PM.

You will be picked up from your accommodation anywhere in Bali at your check out time. On the way to Kintamani, stop at Tukad Cepung waterfall and admire the sun rays shining straight through the top of the falls, creating natural beams across the canyon. Here, you have the chance to swim in the waterfall. Then, stop at Pengelipuran Village and meet the village locals and learn about their way of life. Then, check in to your accommodation in Kintamani and have a good rest before your hike starts the next day.

Wake up at 3:30 AM, fuelled with breakfast and then head to Mount Batur. During the ascent, you’ll trek along a 3-kilometer long trail. This was a terrific activity, especially doing it on New Years Eve! Our driver, Comang, was great. He spoke good English and was incredibly helpful. Our guide Nyoman, was excellent as we walked, allowed us to walk at our own pace and was patient, supportive and encouraging. Our host at the Volcano Terrace was lovely, very friendly. The accommodation itself was very basic and the villas do not have a kitchenette however drinks can be purchased if you ask. Overall an excellent activity that is well worth the drive. Great service, amazing views and a unique activity to see in a new day.

The accommodation was a construction site. Otherwise she would have been nice. The guide always says wrong times that you should not go up there otherwise you will not see the sunrise. By 2 hours of running it was only 40min. We were not brought to the hot springs. You can not let the camera go. Of the many disappointments I can say but the sunshine was worth it it is beautiful up there. And if you do not like running then you can let yourself be driven by a motorbike.

The guides were really good and the hike was good. The only complaint I have is that the hotel pictured is not the one that was included. We actually stayed at Black Lava Hostel. The hostel was ok, it was kinda the fact that they advertised something that was nicer. Also, the hot springs is actually a pool at the hostel that is heated by the hot springs.
