Bai Dinh Temple: Tours & Tickets

What people are saying about Bai Dinh Temple

Highly recommend! Super easy and great fun!

My friends and I booked this all together and loved every second. Our tour guide Wendy had the best energy the entire day (which is not easy to do given the length). She was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and felt like our cool aunt for the day. Pickup and drop off was very smooth, and we really didn't have to think about any of the logistics. Bai Dinh and Trang An were also beautiful and gave us a great taste of life outside the city.

More peaceful version of in-land Halong Bay

Our thoughtful and energetic guide, Tu (aka Ana), tried to teach the big group a few words in Vietnamese on the way to Bai Dinh. The visit to the huge pagoda was fine but nothing too spectacular. The quaint Trang An was more interesting to explore, including the pretty tasty buffet, the bike ride, and the two-hour boat ride. We passed through several head-height caves and marveled at the still beauty of the surrounding mountains, all shouting the handiwork of the Awesome God. This trip to the in-land Halong Bay turned out to be more enjoyable than the real Halong Bay.

Good content. Good use of a day out of the city.

Guide was entertaining. Boat ride was interesting and enjoyable. Too bad there was a large tour group racing their boats and yelling, disturbing and disrespecting the place and the peace. Some also smoked while going through the grottoes. But these are things that Tour Operators can’t control if the boat rowers and security staff of the site themselves were not willing to put an end to the uncouth behaviour of these morons.

Wonderful experience. Totally worth the money

I had the most wonderful experience on this trip. We managed to cover quite a bit of Trang An in a day. We guys were the first to get on the bus, and for an hour we were roaming around in the old quarters picking up fellow passengers. Some people might get irritated for travelling around for an hour doing nothing, but for me it was an great experience as i got a city tour of the old quarters (that too on a bus!). The Pagoda we visited was beautiful. The lunch was also great (that too with a view). It was nice to see a lot of vegetarian options for a change :p There was a cycle ride in the Vietnamese countryside (across great landscapes). This was followed by a 1 1/2 hour boat ride which was the highlight of the trip. We had a great tour guide in Trung who made an effort to interact with each tourist in addition to the group as a whole. This trip is totally worth the money

Phuong our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining.

Instead of the bicycle ride through Trang An village, I opted to climb up the Praying Altar bridge along the mountain in Trang An Co (less than 5 minute walk from the restaurant stop), the view was amazing!
