Full description
Experience a full-day tour in the west of Avignon for a discovery of Tavel's vineyards. Enjoy a typical Provence lunch on a beautiful terrace in Châteauneuf-du-Pape or choose to partake in a gastronomic French lunch from €32 per person consisting of fresh seasonal products, on the terrace or in the beautiful dining room. 

After lunch, have a short visit to the old "New Castle" for a quick history lesson followed by the best wineries in Chateauneuf du Pape, which is one of the world's most famous and renowned wines of the Cotes du Rhône. Visit some of the most prestigious wine cellars. Have a guided tour of the vineyards first to discover the wine making process and the terroir type and then taste several reds and whites of different years.

Finally end a great day by heading to the wine museum, where you can finalize your initiation of the Côtes du Rhône with the audio-guide, before the last wine tasting.

Very nice winetour for 8 people!

We had a greit time on our winetour! Gilles was a nice guide and the lunch on the chateau was fantastic! Everything went smooth and we found some good wines to bring back home!
