Brilliant trip by Norberto! He picked us up from our hotel on time and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dropped us off at the start of the Paiva walkway and was there to meet us at the end to take us to a traditional Portuguese restaurant for a lovely lunch. We were then driven to Aveiro for a walk around the town (with a market) and had a nice 45 minute trip on a ‘gondola’ before making our way on to our final stop for the day, Costa Nova, with its brightly painted fishermens cottages.

I had an amazing time and truly enjoyed the experience. I loved seeing the colorful houses, but also how the people of Aveiro live and work. A few bonuses also included the boat tour which is part of the package and tasting a small serving of wine with a tiny sample portugese dessert that I had for the first time. Perfect way to spend the morning and would definitely recommend this to friends and family

Enjoyable tour apart from the tour guide

The destinations were great. The tour guide was competant but maybe he should just be a guide for non english speaking countries. I found him very offensive.told me i should speak portugese or spanish as they should be the only language in the world.

A great way to get a look at these areas with true character. Lots of photo worthy houses, scenic inviting beach, even though its still a bit cold out, and the canal and bridges are not to be missed. You also get good commentary going out of Porto.

The trip consisted of a traditional boat ride on the canal and a drive to Costa Nova to see the colorful beach houses. It would have been nice to spend more time at Costa Nova (we only had approximately 30 min).
