Auckland Zoo: Tours & Tickets

The price of the entrance ticket was cheaper than upon arriving, and the voucher was accepted at entrance, without needing any additional tickets. This was a hassle-free process, and worth the price! The zoo itself is absolutely great! There were native species, which are unique to the country, and the setup of the entire zoo was easy to understand and navigate. I really enjoyed this outing.

The bus was supposed to pick us up from the hotel we were staying in, but after a phone call to the office, it was clear this wasn't going to happen. Nobody seemed to know what I was talking about, so some mis-information was given about pick up. Nevertheless, we walked to the nearest "stop" and all was good.

We had a morning free before flying home to the UK. We were really taken by how well the Zoo is set out and the lovely animals to see. Don't forget the chips / fries in the café, soooo good!

The Zoo was good but smaller than we expected . The rain did not help as animals kept going into hiding . The children enjoyed the challenge of trying to find the animals .

We enjoyed seeing all of the sights and stopped at the Auckland Zoo for most of the day. The drivers were really friendly and provided a great commentary along the way.
