So for anyone visiting Moscow, the Kremlin is a place you might have thought wouldn't be accessible but it is. Infact it's a must see on your visit. This tour will start off beside Red Square and the guide will bring you into Red Square and then down to the Garden built by a former Tsar. Its great value for money. You get to hear information that you won't get from a map or book. Plus the guide will have your tickets ready so you don't have to join the ticket queue. You'll only have to join the security check queue which moves quickly. So to summarise, this tour is good value for money. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Its well worth booking. The Kremlin has the wow factor.
Well worth the money!! Brilliant! Ksenia is a wonderful person. Her English was excellent and was extremely knowledgeable on Russian history - could answer all of my questions with such delight and enthusiasm. Great organization!! And a very interesting tour! She is a very informed guide who provided great background to life in Russia over time. She definitely went above and beyond to make the tour such a wonderful experience. I would say this tour is definitely in my top 5 most favourite tours I’ve done so far – and I`ve travel a lot :-)
Our guide was very good. She really knew her way around the Kremlin and the Armoury Chamber. We had a slight problem meeting up as the joining instructions had advised us to look for a sign that wasn't on show, but we found each other eventually. Our guide's knowledge of history was fantastic, and we were really interested in what she told us about the Cathedrals and their icons too. She made sure we learned a lot! We would recommend this tour.
The tour and also the wealth of information presented could be structured better to make it more engaging and to allow information to be absorbed better. Long monologues that pack in too much information ended up being a bit tiring as this involved a lot of standing around. Great that tickets had been purchased in advance by tour guide and that aspect of the tour certainly was good.
We had the best guide ever: Victoria Zhanna of Russiafreetour.com. She spoke an excellent English, was topl documentated (inside info!) and was extremely helpfull in giving us a wonderful tour. A true professional. So if Victoria is available, ask for her!
