  • Get to see the whole process from planting the seed to the final step of grinding the coffee beans
  • Taste a single origin coffee of excellent export quality in five different preparations
Full description
Be picked up from your hotel and head to the coffee farm in a comfortable private car. On arrival, a charming married farmer couple welcomes you with a delicious cup of coffee and will deliver an informative introduction into the world of Colombian coffee. After the introduction, you begin by picking the beans yourself as the farmer guides you in the process and provides tips about how they should be picked, how this task is done by women and men alike, wages, lifestyle and everything about coffee pickers. You then enjoy the experience of participating in the de-pulping and fermenting of the coffee beans, drying of the coffee beans, followed by the threshing, roasting, grinding and packaging. You will have the most authentic experience in Medellin just by learning and enjoying at this coffee farm with its owners and have the opportunity of purchasing this same coffee.

Our guide Andres & the plantation owner Don Antonio are the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Both have decades of experience in the coffee industry. We sampled four types of coffee brews and saw first hand how the coffee transforms from seedling to our cup. You will be treated like family in this private tour with beautiful views. Book it now!

Amazing experience on a family owned coffee farm. Nothing industrial or very “touristy”, but all very personal and exclusive. The tour is private, there are several coffee tastings in different types of preparation. After that we take a tour of the coffee making process following each coffee brewing process until the beans are ground in front of us and the last coffee is freshly brewed. More fresh impossible. All the staff welcomed us very well and the farm's premises are a great spectacle. I advise you to visit, it is very worth it! We love the experience and will return whenever we are in Medellin.
