What people are saying about Angkor

Great day out and impressive tour guide.

We really enjoyed this tour, we were collected from our accommodation promptly and dropped back after the tour which was really handy. Lign from Journey Cambodia and his driver were really hospitable and made sure we were looked after. The minivan had great aircon which we really appreciated after touring the temples in the scorching sun! We were provided with plenty of cold water and wipes throughout the day too. We visited the three main temples of Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat and Mr. Lign was an excellent guide, he really knew his stuff and provided us with great facts about each temple. He also knew the best times to visit each place before it got too busy which was great! Would definitely recommend booking with Lign on this tour as its the best way to get around the complex and he was a lovely guide.

Interesting experience, but felt more like a spectator

Great idea to show us tourists how to make some pottery. Our instructor was very friendly, but since he was deaf communication was reduced to him showing us what to do. This makes it hard to understand what we were doing wrong, what we should improve and what areas to focus on. They promise that you will create 5 pieces during the workshop. We did create those pieces, but in reality the instructor is doing all the work while you are mostly just sitting there watching him do it for you. Overall, very friendly people and nice experience.

Our guide for the day 'Bruce' was exceptional such an interesting day

Prompt collection for the day followed by a quick but thorough training session on the Honda 125s. Then off into the countryside at an appropriately leisurely pace we didn't hurry all day. Fascinating insight into Cambodias rural economy and Bruce our guide was very informative without overloading us. We had a lovely lunch and rest by the lake and then made our way back to the owner's house where Bruce delivered us back to our hotel. A brilliant experience - hard on the backside after 6 hours in the saddle but a great experience!

Not as expected. Dry season means no boat trip.

Bus collected us and returned us to hotel. Very good. We went in the dry season. So there was no "floating" village as such just a very tall village. The river was dry so no real boat trip, we went to a floating cafe and waited 2 1/2hrs for the sunset. With no way off... Still the beer was not too expensive and the sunset was awesome.. Chilled out trip if you can handle being "trapped" on a floating cafe. Enjoyed the experience, better in the rainyseason I bet.

Very good with an excellent driver, Chilli

We had the Jeep with driver from 8:00 am to 6:00pm. We managed to visit 7 temples in the area and due to the drivers knowledge we entered from different entrances them the main tourists. All in all a great day. We had bought our tickets to the temples separately online, so we didn’t have to stand in line in the morning at the entrance, these tickets were delivered to our Hotel the night before.
