learnt much about Budapest in a small group

It was definitely a good choice joing the Walking tour. We were four people so a small group. I had the chance to get know other people and chat. Our guide Evelin cared for everbody. We had a lots of useful Information about the history of Hungary and hints during the tour. It was perfect for someone who was travelling alone and has a short stay in Budapest. For the ones who had more time it was definitely a perfect start to discover Budapest. Even we had lunch in a traditonal strudel restaurant what was included in price. If I come back to Budapest with my family or friends I will definitely repeat it.

A fabulous (and quirky) tour of beautiful Budapest

Thank you so very much to the Retro-tour team for a thoroughly enjoyable evening! I organised this as a surprise for my partner, Peter, thinking it would be a quirky and unique way for us to see Budapest at night. Our Retro-tour guide picked us up from our hotel and, after the warmest welcome and introductions, we set off in our old Russian jeep. To be shown around a most beautiful city at sundown by someone who knows and loves the place was a truly amazing experience. Your warmth and generosity will not be forgotten. We cannot thank you enough and look forward to our next Retro-tour adventure.

Zsuzsa was very knowledgeable, passionate and fun!

Zsuzsa contacted us before our tour to determine our interests, expectations and levels of camera proficiency. When we met, she sat down with us to review camera skills and plan our route. Zsuzsa's knowledge of the history and architecture of Hungary and Budapest added a great deal to our tour, and she suggested interesting interesting site lines while helping with camera settings. She showed patience and a good sense of humor. We would highly recommend her as a photo/tour guide.

Great fun ride seeing some of the most notable sights.

Lazlo was a good driver and took us to some of the big sites but the whole ride was fun in the old Russian jeep. Lazlo was friendly and accomodating. We got to walk around the sites on our own and others he pointed out along the way. He took us through the leafy streets of Buda suburbs which was lovely to see. Just some advice if you have long hair tie it up and wear a hat and sun glasses as the jeep is open to the very hot fine weather in Budapest.

Great tour with lots of sights along with super guide, Andi.

This tour is very good & informative. We were able to see things that we otherwise would have missed. The ride on the metro & the visit to the bath house was a treat. Our guide, Andi, was fun and very knowledgeable about the history of Hungary. The stop at the coffee shop was a special treat too. I would highly recommend this tour.
