It is always a very nice experience, everything is right: the choice of music, the beautiful hall, nice audience and also the time. I am regularly in Amsterdam for a long weekend and fly back on Sunday evening. It is a nice end to the trip if I can still enjoy a nice concert in the morning. This time it was Rachmaninoff played by a young passionate pianist and then "Romeo and Juliet" by Tchaikovsky.

The Concertgebouw is a classic concert hall that exudes a venerable atmosphere without great pomp. The high and wide hall has exquisite acoustics. We had the pleasure of hearing the Radiophilharmonic Orchestra in large numbers in a Sunday morning concert that lasted over an hour. Shostakovich and the Dutch Wagenaar were on the program. The orchestra, the acoustics and the ambience convinced us. Incidentally, music fans of 1.90 m in size can also find enough space for their knees in the rows of chairs in the parquet. A clear recommendation!

A perfect concert for customers and adults

We had no idea what was coming and we were thrilled at the entrance by the friendliness of the staff, but the crowning glory was the concert itself. The fairy tale "The 7 Swans" was told and played with the music Swan Lake by a grand orchestra highlighted. We are still amazed at how imaginatively entertaining children are introduced to classical music. Great class also the narrator. It was a great experience all around.
