Discover how and why Amsterdam developed its reputation for liberal attitudes towards sex and drugs on a 2.5-hour tour of the Red Light District. Following a pick-up from your hotel (or Amsterdam Central Station), stroll into the atmospheric streets of the Red Light District, and see everything that the area has to offer. Explore the small shops and restaurants of Chinatown, and walk down some of the city’s narrowest streets.

Learn about the Red Light District from a local perspective, and discover the locations of several coffee shops, including the 1st coffee shop of Amsterdam. Hear explanations about the coffee shop culture, prostitution, political issues, and history.

Then, enter a coffee shop for a demonstration and workshop on how to roll a joint. Purchase some food and drinks as you enjoy a relaxing break and smoke a joint (only if you want to).

We had Lorenzo as our tour guide and we couldn’t recommend him more. We were late to our tour and he happily waited for us, gave us great directions and was such a friendly guy. His knowledge and attitude about the city and the history made the trip very enjoyable for us even with the freezing cold weather! Thank you Lorenzo!! Adam & Ali

A very interesting, fun and informative tour of Amsterdam's "dark" side. With Steffan we had a real stroke of luck, very humorous way peppered with many great little stories from our own experience or previous tours. The only drawback was that our booking was not reported to him, but we could prove everything on the basis of the documents. However, this should be the smallest problem, so the group was a little larger than expected but still very pleasant.

This was an awesome experience! Our guide Stan made you feel like you were just hanging out with a local but at the same time gave us so much history and cool information. We accidentally booked with the wrong language and he was so accommodating to that and booked us another time so we could enjoy the tour in English. I would absolutely recommend this! Best way to enjoy a night out in Amsterdam.
