Full description
After a short ride from Amsterdam to the bulbflower area around Lisse, start your tour by making a scenic ride in this area. Depending upon the season you may see a landscape with colourful bulbflower carpets in almost any color you can imagine. Stop to take some pictures.

Then continue to the true highlight of this tour, the park Keukenhof. Once a mere kitchen garden filled with vegetables and herbs, the Keukenhof - smack dab in the middle of South Holland’s tulip region - now has the distinction of being the world’s largest flower garden, hosting some 800,000 visitors per year. This guided tour will take you through the 15 kilometers of footpaths and 32 hectares of gardens, where millions of bulbs are planted each year. Tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and other spring bulbs of a variety of vibrant colors carpet the grounds. Stroll through the English landscape garden, the Japanese country garden, and the historical garden. Take in the flower sculpture, based on an annual theme.

Expensive tour

Its was a good experience but the price was high for what I got to see on the park. They tell you they are going to take you to the fields and they didnt take us to the fields because there were no tulips yet. If the people that gives the tours knows that in the begging of the season there is no tulips yet in the feilds or in the park, they should charge a little less. Anyways it was a good experience. There is a lot of tulips in the pavilions.

Keukenhof Super, ticket big minus

Keukenhof the excursion and the ride top! Pick up at the Hotel Apollo also ok! Closest entry point to our hotel. When we got in, we thought it was going directly to Keukenhof, which was not the case! It went to the tower where we had to get out of the bus to exchange the already paid ticket (Voucer) for a yellow note with Keukenhof inscription! Time loss for 48 people 1 hour! Then we went to the Keukenhof where the tour guide exchanged tickets for us again. It couldn't be more complex! Where all tickets that have already been paid are provided with a barcode We would have preferred to spend the time in the Keukenhof than in perpetual ticket exchange .. ,,
