A very great tour. One point deduction due to outrageous treatment by other staff (guides of the Spanish and free tour). Fortunately we had another guide (English tour) who was extremely nice and friendly. Very interesting information about the peculiarity of the city of Amsterdam that you cannot get from every travel guide like many other tours.

Entertaining and informative city tour

With enthusiasm and humor, Axel led us through the hidden historical corners of downtown Amsterdam. The focus was on the 60s / 70s, the development of the Dutch mentality and the use of cannabis in the past decades. He led us to formerly occupied houses and to the historical places of the Provos (hippies). With his very rousing execution of the history of Amsterdam, Axel managed to bring the mindset of many Amsterdamers closer to us. True to the motto: don't fight, but steer. Many thanks for this!
