Feel your adrenaline pump on a 4-wheel drive adventure, swim in the cooling waters of the Garden of Eden, and hike the plateaus of Watarrka. Get to grips with the traditional Aboriginal way of life.

This is an all-inclusive adventure tour led by a fun and professional guide. With all the details of the trip already organized for you, such as accommodation, food, and transportation, you can really relax and tour the West MacDonnel Ranges in style.

Day 1 (L, D)
Departing Alice Springs bright and early, hit the road on an adventure of a lifetime (for those commencing the tour at Uluru, you will be collected from the Outback Pioneer Hotel or the airport). The journey begins heading south through the Waterhouse and James Ranges with a stop at the Camel Farm for a camel ride if you're feeling adventurous (at your own expense). Then, you will pass by the Mount Ebenezer Roadhouse where you can browse or purchase Aboriginaartifactsts. Stop to view Atila (Mount Connor), a mesa tableland and the first significant rock formation of the trip.

After a stop for lunch, you will arrive at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park where your guide will lead you on an interpretive walk from the base of Uluru, explaining about Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa). Continuing on, you will meet your local Aboriginal Guide who will provide a once in a lifetime authentic Indigenous cultural experience with an interpretive walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole where you will hear the stories of the unique landscapes, art and culture of the local custodians, the Anangu people.

The tour ends at the Cultural Centre, where you may explore the displays and learn about the flora and fauna of this unique area. Experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset, away from the crowds, complete with sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and contemplate the day and the vastness of the desert. Afterwards settle in at a remote private camp, complete with an Endless Star dining experience before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or your comfortable safari tent complete with beds.

Day 2 (B, L, D)
After watching the sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta from a lookout close to the campsite, enjoy breakfast and then head to Kata Tjuta for a 7-kilometer hike through the magnificent Valley of the Winds. After a leisurely lunch head to Kings Creek Station for the second nights bush camp. Thus private and secluded campsite at Kings Creek offers a perfect outback experience. After a campfire dinner it's time to kick back and be mesmerized by the millions of stars on display.

Day 3 (B, L, D)
Enjoy a guided walk to see the towering walls, crevices, and plateaus of Watarrka (Kings Canyon). Visit the Amphitheater and the Lost City plus swim in the tranquil Garden of Eden if you’re keen. After Watarrka enjoy a 4-wheel-drive adventure along the famous Mereenie Loop Road where you will be shaken and not stirred! Look out for wildlife along the way before arriving at the permanent camp at Glen Helen, nearby the stunning waterhole, in which the traditional owners of this land believe is home to an ancient and powerful Rainbow Serpent.

Day 4 (B, L)
Spend today exploring the mighty West MacDonnell Ranges. Travel off-road to Ormiston Gorge, keeping your eyes peeled for Perentie Lizards lazing along the banks and take a swim in the rock holes. Hike the Ghost Gum Walk before traveling back to Alice Springs, stopping along the way and returning to your accommodation at approximately 17:30. After returning to civilization, a hot shower awaits before joining your fellow travelers for a farewell meal, laugh, and few cold ales.
