What people are saying about Alfama

Great! Enjoyable activity for three generations!!!!

Nice guides (Er)Nani and Alberto(?) gave us a lovely afternoon. Nani informed us about a lot of things. The bikes were ok. The last guide arranged traffic and took care of my mother when needed.

Great experience with a super friendly tour guide

Great way to see the city and hear things about culture and history and the city. The tour guide gave us enough space to decide by ourselves what we want to see and how long to stay. 5 stars!!!!

Great way to miss the queues, get around and see the sights

Great way to get around and see the sights. We had a very friendly and informative guide called Vicente. We only had a few hours in Lisbon so it was a good way to avoid queues and to learn a bit about the city. We were taken to good viewpoints and areas which we wouldn't have known about ourselves.

Great personalised private tour, highly recommended. Thanks Ricardo!

We booked this tour well in advance and there was excellent email communication with the tour director Joao. Ricardo picked us up on time at the cruiseport as arranged and he had customised a tour specific to both my wife and my interests (even visiting a garden the day before to ensure it was suitable etc.). He spoke great English, was a competent driver and even went with us to buy coffee and enter a museum to make sure we got exactly what we required. His knowledge of Portugal and Lisbon history is excellent and his explaination of events was clear and well understood. We walked through the narrow alleyways of Lisbon and Ricardo was able to utilise tourism parking spots (to save us walking back up a steep hill) and skip the lines, all of which we could definitely not do on our own. This is a great personalised private tour, very good value for money and well run - Thanks Ricardo
