City tour was good as they took us to places we properly would not have seen on our own. Alcatraz was great interesting and an experience but only that we needed to wait 1.5 hours for the ferry over as our city tour finished at 12 and the ferry to Alcatraz was at 1.30. We had no way of getting there earlier. Our ticket stated 1.30 and we were not allowed to get the next ferry. It was a cold day, so standing around was not fun!!! If it was in summer or other seasons of the year maybe but in winter not such a great idea.
I have done Alcatraz and it was amazing experience. I cannot believe how close it is to the mainland. It is hard to believe that was people’s homes and the staff & family with children lived there too. The boat transfer was great nice & easy no problems all round defo ya must if you have never done it!!
The experience to Alcatraz was excellent hop on hop off bus was good. Some of the connections were broken and couldn’t hear the commentary. Sausalito was a wast of time but aloud you to cross the golden state bridge
The tour was great, Rob knows a lot about the city and you can feel that he really loves San Francisco. The Alcatraz tour was great with a use of audio guide. The bus has its own toilet.
Very informative and humorous . Unfortunately, being partially deaf, I found that sometimes the commentator spoke too quickly for me to be able to understand everything that was said.
