We had a great afternoon out. Craig was very knowledgable and gave us very helpful tips. The two wineries we visited were very good to excellent with at least 8 tastings at each stop. The second stop at Shingleback was especially good with a very affordable cheese platter to share. A delightful drive through the hills above Adelaide culminating with a drop off at the Glenelg beach. A great afternoon out!

The guide was a little too personal. For example I felt his overview of the area was more propaganda than historical. Also, he was helping set up and clean up at the wineries. Perhaps he was just being nice, but it made me feel he took us to wineries that he had a personal affiliation with rather than ones that best represented the area.

Had a great time on this tour. Craig, our guide was knowledgable about Adelaide and McLaren Vale and had a real passion for the city and region overall. I liked that it was half day too. We were a small group of 3 solo travellers which worked perfectly as we all got chatting and got along. We visited 2 scheduled vineyards, 1 vineyard in McLaren Vale itself is optional. The wines were beautiful and it was great to see one of the worlds most famous wine regions. My only recommendation would be to include the cheese platter in the overall cost, this platter was beautiful but an additional $10. Wine tasting can work up hunger so be good in future to just include this. Other than this, excellent tour and would highly recommend.
