This was a simple and easy trip out to the Statue of Liberty and back. The boat was clean and well-staffed. If you want to hear the tour guide you must sit inside which is a bummer. Outside on a pretty day is so much better. She had great information that we simply could not hear.

It was a lot of fun but two things: the speaker went in and out so it was hard to hear our tour guide (she was very informative when we could hear her though), and make sure you DO get there at least 15 minutes early. And if you can’t see “pier 36” on the blue building, you are in the wrong place!

The tour itself was good, with particularly good views of The Statue of Liberty. The recorded tour description was significantly ahead of our actual location, resulting in some confusion. Also, the woman hawking food and drinks continually overrode the tour description, which was annoying. Signage and directions at the pier were insufficient. Many passengers struggled to find the berth.
