Los Haitises Day Trip We'll pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana from 6:30 am onwards and set off for Los Haitises National Park, a unique karst landscape bathed by the waters of Samaná Bay. Upon arrival, we'll board a boat and sail along the Caño Hondo River towards San Lorenzo Bay, while looking out for tangles of red mangroves on the shore. In open water, we'll be able to spot rocky mogotes teeming with pelicans and fork-tailed flycatchers. The expedition continues to the Arena and Linea caves, which were once used by the Taíno indigenous people. Inside, we'll see these caves decorated with indigenous pictograms and petroglyphs. Our next stop will be the Caño Hondo Paradise Hotel, where we'll hop off the boat and see beautiful natural pools inside the hotel's grounds. You'll be able to have a refreshing dip in the Jivales River before having a traditional Dominican lunch, which we'll eat in this idyllic spot. With our energy back, we'll get into a jeep and head to the summit of Redonda mountain, which is nestled between two lagoons: Limón and Redonda. From the top, the views of the jungle will look like something out of a fairy tale. Finally, we'll return to the mainland and head back to Punta Cana, where we'll arrive at your hotel between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Samaná is a peninsula located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. Full of incredible landscapes and pure nature, it is a member of the World's Most Beautiful Bays Club of UNESCO as well as having been classified as a World Eco-Tourism Paradise. Each year between the months of February and March over 3,500 humpback whales mate in the warm coastal waters just off of the coast of the peninsula. Your tour begins with a boat trip from Miches to the Bay of Samaná, accompanied by a beautiful view. After arriving to your location, you will embark on a horseback trek to the majestic 50-meter high Lemon waterfall, which contains a beautiful natural pool below and is surrounded by lush tropical forest. Following your waterfall tour, you will head on a city tour atop a safari truck through the city of Samaná. Discovered by the navigator Christopher Columbus in 1493, this was the point in which the first hostile meeting between Europeans and natives occurred. Following your city tour, you will sit down for a Dominican buffet lunch in a field restaurant, where you can indulge in a tasting of tropical fruits harvested in the area. After lunch, you will be taken in the safari truck back to the dock, after which you will head to Cayo Levantado or "Bacardi Island". After arriving at this 1-kilometer long island, you can enjoy some refreshing free time on its beautiful beaches complete with clear turquoise water. After this free time, you will be ferried back to the mainland before being dropped off back at your accommodation.

Depart from the areas of Punta Cana, Bávaro and Uvero Alto and travel by bus through the wonderful countryside of the Dominican Republic along rural roads. Discover magical locations that perfectly capture the most exquisite flora of the Caribbean. Journey along a new road that connects the area with the Bavarian town of Miches in just 1 hour. Marvel at the colors as you pass the towns of La Colonia and El Cedro en route. Arrive at the ranch in time for a tasty light breakfast snack. Then, go to a private dock to board a speedboat and set sail to look for humpback whales in their natural environment. Visit Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island) to experience a tropical paradise surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Marvel at the magical setting of turquoise waters and white sand beaches. Then, continue by boat to the dock where you will board a comfortable air-conditioned bus to the village of El Limon. Take a horseback ride to El Limon Waterfall and stop for a hearty buffet or Dominican lunch at Rancho Los Cocos.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana between 7:00 and 8:00. Once on board the minibus, we will embark on an excursion to Montaña Redonda, one of the most beautiful places in the entire Caribbean country. After an hour by road, we will arrive at the foot of Montaña Redonda, in Miches, where we will ride in a powerful 4×4 vehicle to ascend to the top. Once at the top, we will enjoy an unforgettable place and unique views. Will you get on a swing at a height of more than 300 meters? It will be hilarious! In addition, we will have the best panoramic views of the Samaná bay, the Redonda or Seibo lagoon. We will also see how the reflection of the water combines with the sunrise on the beach. You will love it! And later, we will taste a delicious typical Dominican lunch accompanied by tropical fruits. After this, we will start the return trip to be at your hotel at 12:00 hours. Come for a day and discover this enormous mammal and the incredible story of its migration in Samana Bay. The departure will be around 7:30 am to arrive at the Miches pier around 9:15 am. Once at the piers, breakfast will be served. The Whale Watching will be operated on a comfortable motorized catamaran and lasts 2h00 and 3h30. The climb to Montana Redonda will be done in a Safari truck (get ready, it will blow your mind!). Lunch is served on the mountainside with a panoramic view of the Atlantic coast. Our first stop is at Las Cañitas Dock to board the boat that will take us to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary, on a sea tour of around two and a half hours. Once the sighting is over, we will head to Cayo Levantado or Isla Bacardi to enjoy a delicious typical buffet-style lunch in front of the sea. After lunch, the afternoon is to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystalline waters of white sand or simply lie down under the shade of the Coconut Trees, enjoying a good Cuba-Libre.
