José was a great tour guide. You can tell he has many, many years of customer service experience (having owned some retail stores, worked to develop and promote El Paso and Juaréz, and been a tour guide for over a decade). He's knowledgeable (history, culture, economy, politics), passionate, calm, and accommodating. José caters the tour to his guests (e.g., how much you want to drive vs. walk, be in MX vs. TX, desired points of interest to visit). We stayed in Juaréz for the majority of the tour, because we were more interested in being on the Mexico side. Would definitely recommend José as a consummate professional to anyone in El Paso who is looking for an entertaining and/or educational tour; it was one of our favorite activities of our trip.

My wife and I were in El Paso over thanksgiving, without plans or family. We decided to book the walking tour of Juarez and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jose, our guide, made this a great experience. He contacted me about five days out to begin making plans the met us at our hotel to pick us up. He tailored the tour exclusively to our desires. He is highly knowledgeable of both Juarez and El Paso. I highly recommend the tour and to use Jose in particular. You won’t regret it.

This tour was excellent. Jose took the time to make the tour what we wanted. He gave a good background and history of the city. He took us to some great eating spots. I recommend for anyone interested in history.
