The Basic diver programme consists of 2 dives. During this experience we start off with a briefing of how the equipment works, Basic rules of diving and an explanation of how we will do the activity. During the first dive we head into the water to a maximum depth of 5 metres where we practice some basic scuba skills which will give you some comfort and confidence in the water. The Instructor will explain how we do the skills step by step and then they will demonstrate the skills in front of you below the water before letting you practice the same skill. After the skills you and the instructor will go for a shallow dive around our beautiful reef and get you feeling like a fish in the water. After a short break you enter the water with our instructor again for the second dive, The second dive is purely a fun dive and allows us to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres where you will be shown all the different canarian fish around our reefs. From our point of view this is the best option and the most enjoyable. On completion of the Basic diver experience you will be registered in the SSI database and if you feel you want to continue with your Scuba training then we can offer the Scuba diver or Open water course which are officially recognised certifications allowing you to dive to 12 metres/18 metres respectivly, Also if you take the course after, then we discount the cost of the Basic diver from the course price.
