We took a minibus to the port of Miches, then a boat to Bacardi Island (drinks in the boat) where we had 1h of free time (nothing is included on the island so take the bottles of water offered in the boat). Then we took the boat back to Samana and then a safari bus to the Ranch where we had lunch (it was very good and clean). We then did the horseback ride to the waterfall (each horse is pulled by a local who is only paid with tips) after the ride you have to walk 5/10 min to the waterfall and the road is difficult (slippery stairs, mud, etc.). Then we have some free time at the magnificent waterfall (don't delay too long because afterwards you have to go up all the stairs then take the horses back for the return. Then a short break and we take the opposite route: safari truck / boat / minibus to hotel Great day out to see a different area but strenuous (6am to 9pm) not for everyone!

Very good activity, Carlito and Ricardo are super friendly, I was late to go to the port and I found that they left but Ricardo came back to pick me up with a motorbike and it was a great experience. Remember to take cash with you because the people who bring you back to the waterfall with the horses are volunteers and it makes them happy to think of them with a small tip, the activity in general went very well and I loved everything. Thank you once again and do not hesitate to make this experience it is really worth it.

Very good day ! We discover the El Limon Waterfall after a horseback ride in the jungle accompanied by a guide on horseback (paid with tip). Possibility to swim a little. Then head to Bacardi Island where you can also swim. Be careful though, this excursion is quite long (departure at 6:45 a.m. and return to the hotel around 9 p.m. for us).

We loved the experience. Two things we all agreed on: it would have been better to stay longer at the Caída Limón and skip the beach. Also, we would have appreciated to have a ballpark figure of how much tips to bring. And guides most be paid by the ranch in addition to tips

Very well organized tour, the guides were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and everything was spotlessly clean.
