Because I booked the day before, the info didn't get to the local company. They put me on a more expensive tour (which inckuded lunch, which was delicious) which I really appreciated. Punta Walichu was somewhat disappointing compared to other cave paintings I've seen and had been degraded with people carving initials/dates (modern) over some of the old paintings. Beautiful area, though.

A truly panoramic place, not to be missed. Professional and competent guide.

Quiet tour for a half day in relaxation. It begins with a visit to the archaeological area near the Argentine lake and then moves to a vegetable garden, where it is possible to buy local products such as jams, liqueurs and creams, and ends with a visit to a small museum. Finally a small guided bus tour of el calafate. Recommended for families.
