Our insider tips

Avoid the queues

As you know, Paris is quite the popular holiday destination. Plan ahead if you want to jump around and see the Eiffel Tower from lots of angles. It's easy to buy tickets online and go straight to the top -- but if you're looking to do Paris on the cheap, remember to plan waiting time at major monuments into your itinerary.

Watch your stuff

Lots of travelers are looking for a cafe or restaurant nearby these views, where they can relax and regroup away from the crowds. While all the major tourist areas are safe enough, tourists tend to let their guard down as soon as they order a café au lait. As always, zip up your purse and watch out for thieves.

Opening hours

If you decide to get up close and personal with the Tower itself, it's conveniently open 365 days a year. From mid-June to early September, opening hours are from 9:00AM to midnight. During the rest of the year, from 9:30AM to 11:00PM.

Well worth the money to skip the lines!!

I missed out on booking regular tickets online and had to splurge for the Skip-the-Line tickets. Definitely worth it!! This was a well organised tour with clear communication beforehand about the group meeting point. Our guide, Ennis (sp?) was enthusiastic and funny and made a point of speaking with each of us in the group, making us feel valued. He was on time, very organised and knowledgeable and communicated to us exactly how the tour would work so everything was clear. I would certainly take this option again!

Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice.

Our guide met us at the discussed spot right on time. Short distance walk to the Eiffel Tower and really fast access to the 2nd floor as promised. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Well organized and a proffesional guide.

We actually skiped all the limes and were on the 2nd floor in less than half an hour. Everything was as promised and our guide was very professional. Thanks.

A very rewarding experience, much better than going it alone.

Skipping the queue made it a stress free and pleasant activity. Eugenia was so friendly and knowledgeable. The pace of information presentation was perfect. We learned so much about the history of Paris just on the short walk to the tower. We can highly recommend it.
