This is an excellent way to get a sense for the island. You visit a couple of villages, a beach, and a pair of archaeological sites. You also get a pottery making demonstration and a lesson on olive pressing. In season, the tour includes a stop at an olive museum and store. The natural beauty of the Naxos is apparent as you drive up into the mountains, stop in the quaint towns, and descend toward the sea. Demetris provides a friendly and accessible narration, and Vasilis drives the bus with consumate skill. We met fellow travelers from all over, and enjoyed the entire experience.

The tour was excellent and a great way to see the island. I can remember the exact names of our guide and driver (I think our guide was Dimitri?) but they were both very nice and our guide had lots of interesting facts to tell us. It was beautiful getting to see some of the villages and the mountains of the island. The swim stop was also beautiful. I will say that it’s a pretty packed day so keep that in mind if you want more time in each stop. “It takes a lifetime to discover Greece but only a second to fall in love with her” - and I couldn’t agree more.

The tour was excellent! Our driver and guide were both fantastic - very knowledgeable and funny. We really enjoyed all the stops on the tour, and although it would've been nice to have some more time at some, we understand why it wasn't possible. Very enjoyable - thank you so much! (-:

I could not have easily accessed all these attractions across remote mountain roads on my own. This was just right for a low energy outing on day 37 of my current sojourn.

Nice day tour in Naxos, the guide knew his stuff for sure !
