Our guide, David, was informative and upbeat. Very friendly. The tour gives you a chance to see the beautiful landscape that Scotland offers. It is a long time on a bus though. My backside was hurting near the end. Pack some snacks/lunch. The last stop on the tour doesn’t allow you much time to get food. Bring some Pounds/cash with you so you can feed the hairy coos at one of the first stops.

In the condensed version you can see important places and learn interesting things, and when you find a place of particular interest, you can get off, get to know it more closely, and then take one of the next buses. The multimedia guide could contain more language versions for people with little knowledge of English.

Well worth the money. We chose to do both the city and the Britannia routes. We did the entire circuit first and then chose the sites we wanted to visit. If you have the time, I would recommend the 48 hour ticket, we ran out of time to visit all the places we would have liked to.

Loved the Edinburgh hop on bus! Great service and good working audio! Very informative! My advice is to skip the Paris hop on bus by get your guide!! Was awful! And super expensive. This one for Edinburgh was great!

Great way to see the city and stop you from getting completely tried out too quickly
