Full description
Let the guide take you back in time to when Scotland and Edinburgh were much different to what you see today. A time of war, witches and the supernatural. Dare you stand where witches once did, and you might hear their tales of torture and death. Listen as the guide tells you about battles fought right where you're standing, in honor of the freedom of Scotland.  The guide will take you into the museum to show you some of the equipment used in Scotland not just to hunt down witches, but also for people who may have disagreed with you. Hear the tale of Scotland's church and the battles fought to gain what stands today.

We took our tour with Frank who showed up looking the part in costume. There was only our family on the tour and Frank was very flexible with us even detouring when my son needed the toilet. We found the tour and our guide very interesting. Frank is very knowledgeable about Edinburgh and answered my many questions easily. I do recommend this tour and guide to others and my children came away saying 'That was a good tour' and 'I like Frank, he is a very nice man'. Unfortunately we had to cut it short because the children were very tired but I would have loved to stay longer.
