This tour was absolutely excellent! Really interesting, very well presented with a thorough knowledge of history told with the context you need to really understand it. I totally recommend this to anyone who wants something a little bit different. You could feel his love and enthusiasm for the subject matter.

Ben was a very informative guide, giving us insights into the history and the real stories behind the many myths and legends of Edinburgh and Scotland. His extensive knowledge and dry humour made for a very enjoyable walkabout despite the pouring rain. If we had more time we would have done the whiskey tour but we look forward to doing that the next time we are visiting.

My friend and I came to Edinburgh for a girly weekend and booked this historical walking tour - it did not disappoint. Luca was brimming with both knowledge and enthusiasm which created an absolutely brilliant experience. You can certainly see he is passionate about his role and loves the job he does. Going to a city, wandering around and taking photo's of buildings and statues is great, doing that and learning the history behind them is enriching and adds value. We came away with lots of new facts and information which we will follow up on our next visit. I would put this tour on a par with the Warders tours at the Tower of London and would definitely recommend to any prospective visitors. Well Done!
