Apart from searching for start of tour and the return journey the bus driver wouldn't stop at are car park so had to walk three quarters of a mile to pick up car I am not as young as I used to be saying that once we had found tour guide was easy to collect tickets also on our journey out still had to walk half a mile to St Andrews Square to pick up bus was quite a good tour visit all mane sites in Edinburgh would recommend but be prepared for some walking so therefore only 8 out of 10

For a few days trip this is the best way to see the city around and pin point the most interesting locations based on taste. Although it’s easy to walk around town, and the distances are fine (not too long-not too short), the hop-on hop-off bus is a good way to help someone decide which monuments or places are worth to re-visit or visit extensively

The buses were right on time. However, it was a bit inconvenient (at least for me because I have many stuff with me like dslr camera, phone, tripod, food, bag, etc) to have a printed ticket that i have to keep on showing to the driver. I was not allowed to enter once without the ticket.
