very nice vacation on vacation :-)

we put this experience into our 9-day Edinburgh stay and as Outlander TV series fans we were completely satisfied. of course you can watch more and more and also wish more time, but we saw everything important, the stay was well coordinated, only the lunch stop on Friday was a bit amAdW for almost everyone but OKeee. To be highlighted is the B&B in Inverness, really only a few minutes walk from the "City" - we had a fantastic room with bathroom en suite (despite that we had booked a shared bathroom - so as a tip: just let it get there). Culloden is impressive and in Falkland we can recommend the small cafe on the street side of the Covernant Hotel, where there is a delicious cafe as well as beautiful handicrafts - including drawings by Claire and the ghost scene at the fountain by a local artist - for little money. are actually cards 20x20cm, but we are now framing them ..

We were a very small group in the bus, but maybe that's why we got an extra good group feeling. We ate together, and still chat with each other daily for weeks after the trip, sharing photos, etc. Our guide Brian was wonderful, funny and helpful. We were also lucky with the weather - sun and warm. Wonderful nature experiences and of course very exciting to see the filming locations from the TV series.

I had the most amazing time! This is a great way to discover the Highlands if you’re an Outlander fan. The tour is very well thought and packed with filming locations. The B&B booked for me was perfect. Our driver & guide, Moray, was such a nice man, funny and gave us loads of details on everything. We didn’t have lunch at Deanston Distillery as it was full. But despite the traffic on our way back, we made it just in time to see Midhope Castle (Lallybroch).
