Full description

Experience Düsseldorf from a different perspective as you join a night watchman at the end of the day and take a stroll through the historical Altstadt (Old Town). Venture down the romantic lanes and see the streets and buildings illuminated after dark by the glow of the atmospheric lanterns. Follow a guide equipped with a hand lantern, horn and halberd, as in days of old, and admire his typical gown and costume. Listen intently to interesting tales and hear juicy details of the customs and everyday life of the olden days. When the watchman cries, ‘Hark, ye folks," it is time to explore!

Booked as a surprise for my girlfriend, the evening walk with the very entertaining night attendant was absolutely recommendable. We had a lot of fun and learned new things about Düsseldorf and its history. In addition, the night watchman himself has a really pleasant voice that you would like to hear longer. If you still have doubts, do it.

Meine Frau, meine Tochter und ich haben vergangenen Donnerstag diese Stadtführung in Düsseldorf mitgemacht und waren alle sehr begeistert. Das lag vorallem an unserem Nachtwächter (Michael), der sein Wissen mit sehr viel Humor in Verbindung mit schauspielerischen Können an uns vermittelte. Auch seine passende altertümliche Kleidung und die Accessoires, die er mit sich führte, machten die Nachtführung zu einem tollen Erlebnis. Wir empfehlen diese Stadtführung gerne weiter.
