I’ve done a bit of traveling and been on school, small group, and personal tours. Rando was one of the best guides I have ever had. He is enthusiastic (nothing is scripted or rote), knowledgeable, and loves showing off his country. The small company website stresses the local flavor of each tour and how they arrange for experts in each area to meet the group. Local foods. Local stays. Mine was a one day trip but I can attest to the dedication to quality of experience. An archeologist toured me through Apollonia! I’m sure Rando and the group would adjust based on stamina and interest but I wanted to hear and see it all. A long day- but I can rest at home. Now is the time to experience new things.

I liked the most Durres and Kruje, these places look amazing and they are well preserved. Kruje was the best of them all, a little physically demanded as is a little steep the way to castle grounds, but I enjoyed it very much. The bazaar on the way up is very pleasant. We had a marvellous lunch ( with an amazing view). Julian is a great tour guide. He knows all the historical facts and his English is great. He makes sure you’re comfortable & safe at all times.

The tour was so charming. The guide was so knowledgeable and interesting and made it such a nice experience. It’s helpful to have a guide on a visit to Durres where you have to use some “imagination” to get the picture of the old importance of the town. The winery is lovely— it was a surprise to see such a magnificent set-up. So happy with the experience!

The program was very well organized, our guide was extremely prepared, kind, with a lot of information and respect for all our requests, the lunch was delicious, the sights were special.
